Senior Director, Meetings & Convention Sales Mid-Atlantic Region

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (Mar 4, 2015) - Discover The Palm Beaches welcomes Dori Jensen to its global sales staff as Senior Director, Meetings & Convention Sales for the Mid-Atlantic region. With 28 years of sales success in the Washington D.C. association marketplace, Jensen brings a wealth of experience to the team.

Prior to joining Discover The Palm Beaches, Jensen spent the past eight years as manager of meeting & convention sales at Tourism Vancouver, one of North America's premier destination marketing organizations. There she was responsible for representing and actively promoting the destination ultimately generating qualified group leads and definite bookings for Vancouver's hotels and new convention center.

Before her role at Tourism Vancouver, Jensen spent 20 years in the Global Sales Office for Fairmont Hotels
& Resorts, representing its collection of world renowned hotels across the United States.

Jensen is active in local industry organizations such as Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), Meeting Professionals International (MPI), and Association of Meeting Professionals (AMPs). She previously held the position as chair of the PCMA Community Services Committee and is still active on the committee.
