War Games - July 5, 2015

Wrap up the Independence Day weekend watching a patriotic crossfit-style competition that pits different branches of the military against each other in a rigorous fitness battle. From 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. the competition will take place paired with a military operation vehicle display as well as special kids activities. This event is FREE to watch. Proceeds from competitor registrations benefit the 22 Until None Foundation.

MEGA BASH at Roger Dean Stadium: July 3 - 4 2015

Take the family to celebrate Independence Day at this two-day event at Roger Dean Stadium. Enjoy fireworks, live tribute bands, a MEGA Kid's Area, and great Minor League Baseball action. Watch as Palm Beach Cardinals take on Fort Myers Miracle on July 3 at 6:00 p.m. and head back on July 4 to see Bradenton vs. Jupiter at 5:30 p.m.

Delray Beach July 4th Celebration: July 4, 2015

Located on A1A and Atlantic Avenue, this free event will feature live music from Progression, a reggae band and Jimmy Stowe & the Stowaways (a Jimmy Buffet tribute band). Family activities will include a Splash Zone featuring water slides and games, a Kid's Corner hosted by the Avenue Church with face painting, craft activities and sidewalk chalk art. Adults can cool down at the Beer Garden hosted by Burger Fi, Caffe Luna Rosa, and Boston's on the Beach. A Lip-Sync battle Countdown to the fireworks display will be hosted by @TheZRock. The fireworks, launched from the north end of the beach, will begin at 9:00 p.m. and be simulcast by Wild 95.5FM.

Boynton Beach Fourth of July Festival: July 4, 2015

The City of Boynton Beach is celebrating the 4th of July with a free community event at Intracoastal Park. Enjoy live music, food vendors and family activities, including a petting zoo, face painters and a fireworks display from 6:00 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. Live entertainment will include performances by the New Horizons Band (R & B, Blues and Jazz) and Big Night Out (Latin, Island and R & B).

City of Lake Worth Fourth of July: July 4, 2015

Kick off Independence Day with the City of Lake Worth's Float Parade along the Intracoastal Waterway at 11:30 a.m. Enjoy the Great American Raft Race and other watersport activities, before heading to the Main Stage in Bryant Park for hours of live musical entertainment from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The celebration will end with a fireworks extravaganza over the Intracoastal Waterway.

Celebrate the Fourth of July with an evening of great music, FREE family entertainment and a spectacular fireworks show at Harbourside Place. Shakespeare Festival: July 9 - 12 & July 16 - 19, 2015

Celebrate a quarter century of Shakespeare by the Sea with a live performance of Shakespeare's "Hamlet." The production will take place at Seabreeze Amphitheatre in Jupiter's Carlin Park. Hot Summer Nights Concerts in Delray Beach: July 3 - 31, 2015

Hot Summer Nights is a new free outdoor concert series at Delray Beach Center for the Arts Outdoor Pavilion. Every Friday in July, starting at 8:00 p.m., South Florida's best dance bands will bring their own unique sound to the summer stage. All concerts are weather permitting; suggested donation at the gates; cash bar and food trucks will be available.

Decoding Beach Curiosities: July 11, 2015
Sandoway House Nature Center
Join the Sandoway House Nature Center at 9:00 a.m. on July 11 for a beach adventure to hunt and decode the mystery of the sea creatures that wash up on the shores of Florida. Examine clams, snails, corals, plants and other critters, their similarities and differences. All ages are welcome to join the hour-long program. Admission is $8 per person and includes entry to the nature center.

Roar & Pour: July 11, 2015
The Palm Beach Zoo, West Palm Beach
Experience a night at the Zoo during "Roar & Pour" at the Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society on Saturday, July 11, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Enjoy drinks, food and live music from the band White Witch, a tribute to Stevie Nicks. Palm Beach Summer Beer Fest: July 25, 2015

Enjoy the distinct flavors of new and local brews at South Florida's only indoor Craft Beer Fest, held at the South Florida Fairgrounds' Expo Center from 1:00 p.m. through 5:00 p.m. Advance general admission tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased online. Attendees must be 21 years or older.

Food Truck Safari: July 25, 2015

Enjoy live music, beer, wine and frozen drinks from a Tiki Bar, zookeeper talks and up-close animal encounters along with culinary delights from a great selection of South Florida food trucks. Admission, which does not include food and beverage purchases, is $9 for adult Zoo members, $10 for adult non-members, $6 for child Zoo members, $7 for child non-members and free for toddlers under age three. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. All food trucks are donating a portion of their proceeds toward Zoo operations.

Northwood Village Art Battle @ Art & Wine Promenade: July 31 & August 28, 2015

PGA National Resort & Spa Craft Beer Bash: August 8, 2015

The creators of the legendary Craft Beer Festival & Burger Bash have returned with an indoor event inside PGA National Resort & Spa. Highlights include unlimited sampling of more than 120 craft brews and ciders, food stations (for purchase) and live music by Franscene and Morning Fatty. Vote on the People's Choice Awards for Best Craft Brewery, Best Cidery, Best Craft Beer Single Offering and Best Cider Single Offering. There will also be a home brewers contest judged by an expert panel. The festival takes place between 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Hoffman's Chocolates' Children's Chocolatier Class: Through August 13, 2015

Kids become chocolatiers during this one-hour dipping and decorating class at the Hoffman's Chocolates' Greenacres factory. Make three chocolate-dipped snacks and create a chocolate pizza. Classes take place every Thursday through August 13, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Children age six and up are welcome. Admission is $14.95 per person.

Flavor Palm Beach: September 1 - 30, 2015

Eww! What's Eating You? Exhibit: Through October 18, 2015
South Florida Science Center and Aquarium, West Palm Beach
Eww! What's Eating You? features a parade of parasites, including preserved and live specimens - specifically those that enjoy feasting on humans. This interactive summer exhibit digs into the history of human and parasite interaction from ancient Greece, Rome and Egypt, leading up to modern tales of sinister and saint critters that live to hitch a ride on human hosts - for the good or the bad. Admission to the Science Center is $15.00 for adults, $11.00 for children ages 3 to 12, and $13.00 for seniors over the age of 60. Children under three are free of charge.
