WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (March 2, 2016) - Discover The Palm Beaches (DTPB), the official tourism marketing organization for Palm Beach County, Florida, has appointed two new agencies of record: &Barr for creative and media buying services, and Miles for website design and development. Both begin their contracted partnership today - Tuesday, March 1, 2016.

"As we come off another record-breaking year for tourism in The Palm Beaches, we are thrilled to be working with &Barr and Miles to further promote our premiere travel destination and its unique mixture of world-class amenities and attractions," said DTPB president and CEO Jorge Pesquera. "We look forward to maintaining the momentum through these new partnerships and celebrating continued success throughout 2016 and beyond."

&Barr's creative and media services will include the development and implementation of major domestic paid media campaigns, niche market, travel trade and meeting planner programs, consumer marketing activities in key international markets, collateral creation and brand standard oversight.

"We are excited to partner with a top destination with an amazing team of individuals who are passionate about the brand," stated Pete Barr, Jr. president and CEO of &Barr. "We look forward to sharing all that Discover The Palm Beaches has to offer."

Through its new partnership with website design and development agency Miles, DTPB will implement a creative overhaul
and redesign of its current website to deliver a more experiential user experience. The new website will feature a "mobile first"
design and social media integration. Destination imagery will be a key design element to pique online user engagement with
The Palm Beaches.

"We are thrilled to be working with Discover The Palm Beaches to develop a new, content-rich website that will be personalized to travelers considering the destination. This targeted approach will result in higher engagement and ultimately drive more visitors to The Palm Beaches," said David Burgess, Miles president.

"Our collaboration with &Barr and Miles ensures total brand alignment in our marketing efforts, which will embrace a content driven strategy," said Rich Basen, senior vice president of marketing and leisure sales for Discover The Palm Beaches.
