Downtown Boca Rocks with FREE Debate Watch Party and Concert


Presidential Debate 2012 at Lynn University in Boca Raton, FloridaOn October 22, the national star-spangled spectacle of the Presidential election will crash onto the shores of The Palm Beaches, as the city of Boca Raton hosts the final Presidential debate at Lynn University in what promises to be a truly historical and spectacular event. To add more fuel to the excitement and encourage voter turnout at the polls on Election Day, an official "Rock The Vote" concert and live screening of the debate will take place in the Mizner Park Amphitheater. The concert and screening are presented by Microsoft's Xbox LIVE and is FREE to the public.

Who says politics can't be fun? Through the use of popular music and, culture, new technologies, and celebrity-endorsed advocacy, Rock The Vote offers an entertaining environment to educate young people about U.S. politics and motivate them to become engaged in the voting process.

This unique and celebrated organization has registered more than five million young voters and become the trusted source for young voters seeking more information about political culture. Rock The Vote works to educate the youth generation, and Americans in general, on the importance of voting, while at the same time, urging politicians to pay attention to the issues that matter most to younger voters.

Rock The Vote will bring its exciting spin on politics to The Palm Beaches on October 22 – the same day as the final Presidential Debate. Taking place in the Mizner Park Amphitheater, the political festivities will kick off at 6 pm with a live concert by the chart-topping rock group Neon Trees, presented by Microsoft's Xbox LIVE.

As the concert comes to a close, the final Presidential Debate will begin at 9 pm just minutes away at Lynn University in Boca Raton. While only a handful of people will have the chance to watch in-person from the debate hall, Rock The Vote will be broadcasting the debate on several large screens in Downtown Boca Raton, with thousands on-site to share in the experience, and millions more watching from home via Xbox LIVE.
