This year, more than 40 restaurants throughout the Palm Beaches are participating in Flavor Palm Beach. From Jupiter to Boca Raton a collection of eclectic cafes, colorful bistros, fine dining establishments and innovative culinary kitchens are participating in this celebrated annual event. Prix Fixe menus offer lunch at $20 per person and dinner at $30 or $35 per person. Reservations are suggested, but walk-ins are always welcome.
There are plenty of first-rate establishments on the menu for this year's event. Flagler Steakhouse by the Breakers Palm Beach, legendary Café Boulud and the over-the-top Leopard Lounge at the Chesterfield Palm Beach highlight Palm Beach’s scrumptious contributions to local tastes. In Palm Beach Gardens, Ironwood Steak and Seafood restaurant at the PGA National Resort and Spa features ocean-fresh seafood, while Café Chardonnay never fails to disappoint. For a view that's just as good as the food, there is the Top of the Point in downtown West Palm Beach, with its fantastic vistas of the Intracoastal Waterway/Lake Worth Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean. On and around Delray Beach's festive Atlantic Avenue more than a couple spots are sure to whet the appetite – City Oyster, The Office and Max's Harvest. And if prime beef is for you, then Morton's and Red, The Steakhouse in Boca Raton will certainly work.
Flavor Palm Beach also has two special events taking place to help raise money and awareness for the Share our Strength national non-profit organization, working to end child hunger in America. On September 5, guests are invited to wine, music and appetizers at the patio between III Forks and Cantina Laredo in Palm Beach Gardens; and on September 12 at The Sundy House in Delray Beach for wine, music and appetizers. Everyone is invited to attend; all that's required is a small donation.
