Café Chardonnay - Palm Beach Gardens, FL- Now in its 30th year, this restaurant founded in 1986 by Frank and Gigi Eucalitto, offers Continental fare with a twist. Coolinary Café - Palm Beach Gardens, FL - Founded in 2012 by Tim Lipman, a protégée of Mike Moir, Coolinary Café offers an inventive menu of Florida fare. Order exotic fare like rabbit tacos, comfort food such as fried chicken and waffles, or complex cuisine that includes Lipman's Seafood Fasole Verde, - a dish filled with shrimp, fish, crab and hominy in a lemon garlic fumet.

Henry's - Delray Beach, FL - Burt Rapoport's elegant restaurant in western Delray Beach has a comfort-food menu that includes horseradish-crusted salmon, turkey and mushroom meatloaf and coriander-seared "rare" yellowfin tuna. Hog Snappers Shack & Sushi - Tequesta, FL - Hogsnappers Shack and Sushi features tropical ambience, zagat-rated cuisine, and an all-around good time. The menu is as diverse as it is long, celebrating both exquisite seafood flavors as the signature Hog Snapper and those from afar like the Argentinean Churrasco and the Paella. Kathy's Gazebo Café - Boca Raton, FL- For more than three decades, the Gazebo Café has been Boca Raton's go-to place for beautifully presented French and Continental fare. The signature dish is Dover sole, which is flown in from Holland. Gazebo Café is also known for its extensive wine list.

Kitchen - West Palm Beach, FL- Chef Matthew Byrne, Tiger Woods' former personal chef, treats this restaurant's kitchen as an extension of his home cooking space. This intimate spot serves comfort fare-plus. Try his favorite dish: chicken schnitzel with radish, sweet onion, mushrooms and arugula topped with a fried egg.

La Ferme - Boca Raton, FL - Modern renditions of French-Mediterranean bistro fare are served in a smart, elegant space at this farm-to-table restaurant owned by the family behind New York City's Flex Mussels. La Ferme features an extensive wine list with a focus on boutique vineyards, beers from local and international micro-breweries, and a craft cocktail list.

La Villetta Ristorante - Boca Raton, FL - Since 1992, this Boca Raton institution has served traditional Italian fare with flair, from fresh carpaccio and fried calamari to a variety of veal and pasta dishes, all accompanied by an extensive wine list. End the meal with a selection from the dessert cart or cheese tray.

Little Moir's Food Shack - Jupiter, FL - Chef-owner Mike Moir gained national attention for his fusion of fresh seafood with Asian and Caribbean influences when he opened Little Moir's in 2002. Menu highlights include the Florida Citrus Chowder, which combines the fresh catch of the day with sweet peppers in a tomato citrus lemongrass broth. Feast on a Shack Bowl with fish or shrimp, mixed vegetables, basil, cilantro, toasted garlic and noodles in a broth of coconut milk, lemongrass, galangal and kaffir lime.

Maison Carlos - West Palm Beach, FL- Tucked into a shopping center that includes a car-rental agency, a veterinarian and a dance studio, this restaurant owned by Carlos and Lanie Farias offers a mix of Mediterranean fare that draws on French, Italian and Spanish cuisines. A must-try is Robert Dedrick's Petit Croque Monsieur and Tomato Bisque - a mini grilled Prosciutto di Parma and Gruyère sandwich with a shot of tomato bisque.

Oli's Fashion Cuisine - Wellington, FL - Oli's defines fashion cuisine as "a manner of preparing food that is stylish, seasonal and pleasing to the eye." The fare, inspired by food from the northern shore of the Mediterranean, with pasta, seafood stews and such, drew in Former U.S. President Bill Clinton, who stopped in for a bowl of pasta and homemade tomato sauce.
