SEVERAL PALM BEACH FAVORITES TO BE FEATURED IN PALM BEACH EPISODE
The "Palm Beach" episode of the new ‘Emeril's Florida' television series, which debuted in January 2013 on the Cooking Channel, will feature three dining locales, one farm, and one non-profit in Palm Beach County on this week's segment of the 13-episode series. The serious previously featured 50 Ocean in Delray Beach as part of the "Florida's Beaches & Waterfront Restaurants" episode while next week's episode, "Big Night Out", features HMF at The Breakers.
Recognizing the ‘Emeril's Florida' segment was a tremendous opportunity to showcase the destination's outstanding dining experiences, the Palm Beach County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) happily welcomed the Cooking Channel, assisting their production team to determine the best dining and community partners to feature in the program, and providing on-the-ground support and coordination throughout the filming.
"Palm Beach" episode, featuring 32 East, bucccan, Guanabanas, The Quantum House and Swank Farms Sunday, March 3, 10:30 a.m.; Monday, March 4, 9:30 a.m.; Thursday, March 7, 11:30 a.m.
"Palm Beach" Emeril heads to the Palm Beach area to explore local, sustainable and delicious food. He visits the popular Swank Farms where he and Executive Chef/Owner of buccan in Palm Beach select produce for the dishes the chef later prepares for him. Over in Delray Beach, Executive Chef Nick Morfogen is on the leading edge of sustainable Florida cuisine and talks a little bit about this with Emeril. Next, Emeril travels to Guanabanas - an open air Caribbean restaurant and bar that's a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Emeril tries a few of their signature items with Jon Sullivan, who tells of Guanabana's origins as a sandwich shop. Finally, Emeril takes a trip to The Quantum House in West Palm Beach, where real people are making real impacts in the lives of children with serious medical conditions and their families. Emeril talks with Director Roberta Jurney and Emeril teams up with friends from The Breakers to prepare a meal for the guests.
