Palm Beach International Airport Noted as One of Country's Most Affordable Airports
PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (August 10, 2011) - The Palm Beach International Airport (PBIA) received a
notable ranking on's recently released ‘Top 101 Affordable U.S. Airports' report for
2011, coming in as the 23rd most affordable airport in the nation. Based on a search conducted in June
2011, pulled the 101 most searched airports and evaluated their average prices for
flights to the most popular domestic and international destinations. The 101 airports with the lowest
average prices are included in the final list.

In addition to its ranking with, the PBIA was also named one of the ten "Most Relaxed
and Stress-Free Airports" by this year, and rated third best airport in the U.S. and
sixth best in the world by Conde Nast Traveler readers.
The Palm Beach International Airport boasts a central location just minutes from downtown West Palm
Beach and oceanfront hotel properties, efficient and hassle-free security and check-in, inexpensive daily

completed more than $7.5 million in renovations to the departures level and shopping area, featuring a
new fountain and gazebo and new concessions including Brooks Brother's for Women; Brighton's,

back a new and improved PGA Tour Shop.
