WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (August 28, 2015) - Sit back, relax and celebrate hard work during a weekend escape to The Palm Beaches this Labor Day Weekend. Last-minute planners can still visit to take advantage of free night stays, special hotel packages as well as reduced rates on activities and attractions available from Jupiter to Boca Raton; Palm Beach to the shores of Lake Okeechobee. The site's Discover Pass also offers discounted admission prices to four local attractions - Lion Country Safari, Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society, South Florida Science Center and Aquarium and Visit Palm Beach Sunset Sailing Cruise.

Palm Beach County Golf's Patriot Golf Day
Palm Beach County Golf will honor the nation's heroes while providing special deals to golf enthusiasts during Labor Day Weekend, as it participates in the Folds of Honor "Patriot Golf Day" promotion. This charity provides post-secondary educational scholarships for children and spouses of military service men and women killed or disabled while serving our nation. To raise money for this cause, Palm Beach County Golf facilities are offering free clinics and the chance to win free golf for contributors. Weekend events include:

John Prince Golf Learning Center
Donate a minimum of $5 and receive a free ten-minute private lesson from Teaching Professionals Chris Masterton and Robb Heering on Monday, September 7. The donation also earns the golfer a complimentary bucket of range.

Okeeheelee Golf Course
Donate a minimum of $5 and receive a free short game clinic from Teaching Professionals Tony Barber and Keith Weachter on Friday, September 11. Pre-Registration is required. Pre-register by calling or by stopping by the golf shop. Also, Okeeheelee will offer a Closest-to-the-Pin contest Saturday, September 5 through Monday, September 7, where a donation will earn the golfer a chance to win free golf.

Osprey Point Golf Course
Osprey Point will offer a Closest-to-the-Pin contest Saturday, September 5 through Monday, September 7. A $5 donation will earn a golfer a coupon for a free bucket of range balls at the Osprey Point driving range, as well as an opportunity to win daily complimentary rounds of golf.

Park Ridge Golf Course
Park Ridge will provide opportunities throughout the weekend, beginning with a chance to win complimentary golf on Saturday, September 5, when a $5 donation will enter the golfer into the Closest-to-the-Pin contest. Saturday's donation will provide access to a free clinic, while a $5 donation on Monday will enter the golfer's name into a raffle for a free one-hour lesson or a complimentary foursome of golf at Park Ridge.

Southwinds Golf Course
Donate a minimum of $5 and receive a free clinic from Southwinds' teaching professionals on both Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6. Meanwhile, a $5 donation on Saturday, Sunday or Monday allows the golfer access to the Closest-to-the-Pin contest on the 17th hole for a chance to win a complimentary foursome of golf at Southwinds.

Palm Beach County Public Swimming Pools
