Social Media Promotion Marks Midpoint of Month-Long "Flavor of Palm Beach"
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (Sept. 15, 2010) - The Palm Beach County Convention & Visitors Bureau has teamed up
with "Flavor Palm Beach" to launch a promotion offered exclusively through social media channels to mark the
September 15 midpoint of this prominent annual culinary event. Visitors and locals alike are invited to follow us at and for a chance to win a dinner-for-two off the
special "Flavor Palm Beach" menu at Ruth's Chris Steak House, Cantina Laredo, The Melting Pot, and Gazebo Café,
from now through the end of September. A total of 10 "Flavor Palm Beach" dinners will be given away throughout
the day on September 16 and 17 through the Convention and Visitor's Bureau's social media sites. Contest
winners will also be notified via Facebook or Twitter with the details on where to pick up their prize.
Now in its third year, "Flavor Palm Beach" is a month-long celebration of fabulous food, which showcases more
than 30 Palm Beach County eateries that offer price-fixed menus for only $20 for lunch and $30 for dinner
throughout September.
"Flavor of Palm Beach is a great way for locals and visitors alike to sample some of the best culinary experiences in
our area," stated Jorge Pesquera, President & CEO, Palm Beach County Convention & Visitors Bureau. "The
affordable ‘fixed price' menus allow diners to visit multiple locations and enjoy a variety of features and specialties
from the finest chefs in the Palm Beaches and Boca Raton."
