WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (January 21, 2016) - Aptly recognized as Florida's Golf Capital®, The Palm Beaches score a hole-in-one as a world-renowned golf destination. This February, many of the top professionals and golf enthusiasts will flock to The Palm Beaches as players from the Professional Golf Association of America (PGA) TOUR tee off at two highly-anticipated tournaments - Allianz Championship and The Honda Classic - held annually within the destination.

The PGA TOUR Champions Allianz Championship will take place in Boca Raton beginning Monday, February 1 through Sunday, February 7, 2016 at The Old Course at Broken Sound. This week-long event will include teaching clinics, a Women's Pro-Am Event and a family day, in addition to a 54-hole stroke-play competition with a purse of $1.6 million. The Golf Channel will broadcast the first round of Championship Play on Friday, February 5 from 7 to 9 p.m., the second round of Championship Play on Saturday, February 6 from 5 to 8 p.m. and the final round of Championship Play on Sunday, February 7 from 5 to 8 p.m.

The Honda Classic, one of the most elite events in professional golf that kicks off the PGA TOUR's Florida swing, annually draws the top players in the world to PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens. The schedule begins with a celebration at The Gardens Mall on Thursday, February 18, then moves to the course on Monday, February 22 for pre-tournament festivities and professional practice rounds. The first round of the 2016 Honda Classic tournament begins Thursday, February 25, with the final round played Sunday, February 28.Additional events and activities will also occur at the resort, including the Tire Kingdom Pro-Am, Junior Clinic, After Play Concert Series and fireworks displays. Former champions, Padraig Harrington (2015) and Rory McIlroy (2012), are confirmed to participate in the 2016 edition of the PGA TOUR event. Tune in for full event coverage on The Golf Channel, Thursday, February 25 through Sunday, February 28 and watch the final rounds of the tournament on NBC, Saturday, February 27 and Sunday, February 28.
