The Palm Beaches announces three new hotels, six major renovations
- Enhanced accommodations debut for peak travel season

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (October 21, 2014) - The Palm Beaches welcome winter visitors with new hotel openings including the Wyndham Grand Jupiter at Harbourside Place, and six major hotel renovations, including a $9 million redesign of The Colony led by internationally-renowned designer Carleton Varney as well as designer Jonathan Adler's redefinition of guest rooms at the Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa.

"These new hotel offerings enhance The Palm Beaches already impressive array of accommodation offerings," said Jorge Pesquera, president and CEO of Discover The Palm Beaches. "The transformation of the Boca Raton Resort & Club, the Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa and The Colony Hotel, offer a new level of sophistication and luxury, and the new Wyndham is a welcome addition to the northern Palm Beaches."

The new and updated resorts offer visitors additional motivation to visit The Palm Beaches, an area that is home to spectacular golf, exciting attractions, award-winning restaurants and 47 miles of pristine Atlantic Ocean shoreline.

New Openings:
Fairfield Inn & Suites
The 95-room hotel, set to open in January 2015, is in the heart of Delray Beach, a village by the sea that has a lively downtown of galleries and boutiques, award-winning restaurants and vibrant performing arts venues, including The Delray Beach Center for the Arts at Old School Square.

Residence Inn by Marriott
This 152-suite hotel, scheduled to open in January 2015, is downtown West Palm Beach's first extended stay hotel. The nine-story hotel will be within easy walking distance to the Palm Beach County Convention Center, CityPlace a shopping and dining destination and the city's downtown hub, Clematis Street, which recently made the top 10 list of the 2014 Great Places in America by the American Association of Planners.

Wyndham Grand Jupiter at Harbourside Place
This 179-room hotel opened Oct. 20 at Harbourside Place, and offers 15,000 square feet of sleek, contemporary meeting space in a location convenient to restaurants, golf, shopping and beaches. The hotel is located just 30 minutes away from Palm Beach International Airport.

Renovated properties include:
Boca Raton Resort & Club
Boca Raton Resort & Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, is nearing completion of a $30 million renovation of its historic Cloister building, set to reopen November of this year. Many of the 318 deluxe rooms and suites were Addison Mizner's architectural masterpiece, the Cloister Inn, built in 1926 with his signature Spanish Colonial/Mediterranean style design.

The Colony Palm Beach
Internationally renowned designer Carleton Varney led a $9 million "re-imagining" of this historic boutique property, which has 91 guest rooms and suites. The property has hosted US presidents, European royalty and Hollywood elite. The redesigned rooms now offer a unique palette of vibrant colors, floral patterns and bold contrasts, with the latest high-tech amenities and luxurious linens. The hotel is located just steps from both the ocean and Palm Beach's shopping epicenter, Worth Avenue.

Crane's BeachHouse Hotel & Tiki Bar
The Key West-style boutique hotel in coastal Delray Beach is wrapping up a half-million-dollar renovation that will transform four suites into villas. This transformation is the first phase of a major multiyear remodeling project for the hotel, which is steps from the beach, as well as the dining and cultural options of Atlantic Avenue. Renovations are scheduled to be completed in October.

Delray Sands Resort
Renovations of the 115-room resort's lobby and restaurant are scheduled to be completed in December. The luxury property is nestled along a quiet strip of shoreline in Highland Beach, just minutes away from golf courses, shopping, restaurants and cultural venues in Delray Beach and Boca Raton.

Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa
Recently announced its new-fashioned Palm Beach philosophy - a partnership with Jonathan Adler to redefine the guest experience. The resort's 309 guestrooms, suites and corridors will be full of elegant surprises, including Adler's signature accents to add style, craft, and joy to the lives of resort guests. The redesign will be completed in time for the winter 2015 season.

Tideline Ocean Resort & Spa (formerly known as The Omphoy Resort & Spa)
Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants brings its signature service, style and spirit to Palm Beach with its newest oceanfront lifestyle hotel, the Tideline Ocean Resort & Spa, previously known as the Omphoy Resort & Spa. Tideline sits along 6,900 total square feet of oceanfront on Palm Beach and houses 134 guest rooms and suites. Inspired by the healing properties of the ocean, the expanded 5,900 square foot build-out of the Tideline Spa will include seven treatment rooms and offer a menu of distinctive treatments, body scrubs, facials, massages, salon and nail services as well as other wellness-driven offerings designed for men, women and couples. Tideline is also a short distance from one of the most beautiful golf courses in the country, the Palm Beach Par 3.
