WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (December 8, 2014) - The inaugural Boca Raton Bowl is set to take place at Florida Atlantic University Stadium (FAU Stadium) in Boca Raton on Tuesday, Dec. 23 matching up the Northern Illinois Huskies and Marshall University's Thundering Herd. While the Boca Raton Bowl may be the main attraction for visiting fans, The Palm Beaches offer unmatched tropical experiences before and after kickoff.
Marshall and Northern Illinois fans and their families have the opportunity to enjoy a holiday escape with temperatures averaging 78 degrees. The state-of-the-art FAU Stadium also welcomes fans to The Palm Beaches with a tiki bar area and views of the Atlantic Ocean.
The Palm Beaches are rolling out the red carpet for fans, offering hotel packages to fit a range of budgets and interests, from ocean-front luxury resorts to trusted brands and boutique hotels.

Boca Raton Bowl fans will be greeted with festivities including Fan Fest on the grounds of FAU Stadium, complete with live music, children's play areas, food, drink and more, leading up to the 7:30 p.m. kick off. The official airport of the Boca Raton Bowl is Palm Beach International Airport (PBI). The airport boasts 12 airlines and 160 flights daily.
The Marshall team will be staying at Boca Raton Resort and Club, a Waldorf Astoria resort, and the NIU Huskies will be at the PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens.

About The Boca Raton Bowl
In October 2013, ESPN Regional Television announced the creation of the Boca Raton Bowl, to be played at FAU Stadium in Boca Raton, Fla. The inaugural postseason college football event will kick off on December 23, 2014, , and will be televised live on ESPN. The Boca Raton Bowl will feature teams from the Mid-American Conference, Conference USA and the American Athletic Conference, with the leagues rotating each year as part of a six-year agreement (2014-2019). The inaugural game will match up the Mid-American Conference and Conference USA.
