The Town of Jupiter covers a 22 square-mile area stretching from the Atlantic
Ocean, west beyond Interstate 95 and Florida’s Turnpike. The town is rich in
history with the earliest known records of the Jupiter Inlet dating to 1565. In
the 1800's Jupiter's most identifiable landmark was erected, the Jupiter Inlet
Lighthouse. The lighthouse stands 105 feet atop a 46-foot hill on the north
shore of the Jupiter Inlet.
The Town of Jupiter encompasses a variety of retail and some of Palm Beach
County's finest golf venues, educational amenities a spring training baseball
facility and Abacoa Town Center, a 170,000 square-foot mixed use project. - text
