TurtleFest
Free & Fun
Loggerhead Marinelife Center will host its 10th TurtleFest at the center's ocean-side campus and surrounding Loggerhead Park. The family-friendly event will allow visitors up-close encounters with threatened and endangered sea turtles, as well as fine art, shopping, children’s games and activities, educational presentations, a Global Village, food, and music by conservation-minded local musicians.
In the Spotlight
TurtleFest is Loggerhead Marinelife Center ’s largest annual “friend” raiser. Enjoy a free, family-friendly atmosphere where learning is the foundation of the experience. Area students in grades 4 thru 12 will create environmental-themed artwork. A jury will judge each age category, a Best in Show, Best Environmental Interpretation, Best Artistic Interpretation, and honorable mentions will be recognized. Winners will be revealed at the event and their artwork will be displayed in a special art gallery exhibit at Loggerhead Marinelife Center throughout the summer.
