2014-2015 Marketing & Sales Plan

As the official destination marketing organization charged with promoting Palm Beach County as a leisure travel and meetings destination, Discover The Palm Beaches plans and executes initiatives in a broad range of areas including sales, marketing, research, visitor services and industry relations. The goal is to deliver the right message, through the right medium, to the right audience, at the right time, in order to maximize the economic impact of travel to Palm Beach County.

This Marketing and Sales Plan is the roadmap that guides DTPB's efforts for the 2014-2015 fiscal year. The plan has been developed by DTPB staff using research on relevant industry and consumer trends, Visit Florida marketing strategies as well as input and insights from Brand USA, US Travel Association, DMAI, the Sales and Marketing Advisory Council, partner surveys and the Board of Directors.

Given the continuing economic recovery and ever-increasing competition, the DTPB team has been challenged to function with a sense of urgency to achieve tourism performance objectives while maintaining a commitment toward best practices, innovation and partner engagement as guiding principles in creating and executing this plan.
