As the President & founding CEO of The Center for Association Leadership and Executive Vice President of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), Susan strongly believes associations have the power to transform society for the better.

Susan’s passion as an association professional has been lauded by a number of organizations and publications. She is a lifetime member of the International Women’s Forum and serves on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Association Committee of 100. She was named Nonprofit Times Executive of the Year and was recently recognized by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for her involvement in the Workplace Partnership for Life Program.

Susan has also been named one of the 25 most influential people in the meeting industry by Meetings News magazine and has been a recipient of the Spirit of Hospitality Award from the Destination Marketing Association International.
