PBIA Airport Ambassador Program
Dressed in their teal blazers, crisp white shirts and a smile, over 90 honorable men and women await visitors of the Palm Beach International Airport (PBIA).
Airport Ambassadors volunteer their time and assist travelers by offering helpful suggestions, valuable information, help lost children find their parents, supply directions to local attractions, and always…a welcoming smile. These superior volunteers have received national recognition and have been awarded the prestigious Travel Industry Association of America's Award of Excellence.
This program has been growing strong for the past 20 years and as new flights bring more visitors to Palm Beach County, the program has begun actively recruiting volunteers who are friendly, enjoy working with the public, able to volunteer one 4-hour shift per week (volunteer meal voucher and parking validation provided), willingness and capability of providing assistance and readiness presenting helpful resource information to PBIA visitors.
All volunteers are provided training and promotional information to hand out regarding Palm Beach County’s accommodations, attractions and dining.
