November Guest Service Tip: Identify and Anticipate Needs

Guests don't buy products or services. They buy good feelings and solutions to problems. Most customer needs are emotional rather than logical. The more you know your guests, the better you become at anticipating their needs. Be alert and aware of your guests. If you see a family with a baby during check in, offer a travel crib to be delivered to their room. Being thoughtful and proactive on your part can leave a good impression with your guests. Always communicate regularly so that you are aware of problems or upcoming needs. To learn more tips, contact DTPB at to receive your complimentary promo code for VISIT FLORIDA's Online Hospitality Training Program.
