JUPITER RIDGE NATURAL AREA

The Scoop: The Intracoastal Waterway touches alongside the Natural Area, so it’s certainly a draw for birds traveling along the Great Florida Birding Trail. Look for Florida Scrub Jay and Hermit Thrush.

The Scoop: Located in a remote side of The Palm Beaches, Rotenberger can be a first-rate place to spot more than one exotic, migratory bird on the Great Florida Birding Trail. Look up for Upland Sandpiper, Black Tern and American Avocet.

Location: Southern Palm Beaches, near U.S. Highway 27
