Jupiter Inlet Colony resides on the northern side of Palm Beach County. To the south visitors will find the City of Jupiter and to the north is the City of Tequesta. Jupiter Inlet Colony is a peaceful, residential community spanning just .2 square miles. This coastal town is surrounded by the Intracoastal Waterway, the Atlantic Ocean, and the narrow Jupiter Inlet. With only eight main roads, the residents of Jupiter Inlet Colony enjoy a comfortable existence, and enjoy the security of their own police department.
Due to the intricate waterways, the adjacent ocean, and the Loxahatchee River, early pioneers and residents relied on the water to make their living. Tourism later became the lifeblood of Jupiter Inlet Colony. Boating, water sports, and sport fishing continue to draw residents and vacationers to the area today. - Information courtesy of JTJB Chamber of Commerce Area Guide.
